Run Your Race

We are called to run a race and every person has their individual track but you won't get motivated to run your own race if you don't know what you're running towards and what the prize is.

We're running this race. But no one is on the tracks, because living someone else's life seems more exciting than our own. Most people are wearing the wrong participant number. We are running in all directions and the official is left with nobody to crown as winner.

The problem is that we are afraid to use what we have. We are afraid to fail, but you have to understand that even the great failed once or twice. We are so afraid of hitting rock bottom, so we don't try at all but there's something waiting for you at rock bottom that's going to help you get to the top.

Purposelessness (yes, I just created a new word) is something that a lot of young people struggle with. Either they don't know what their talents are, or they don't know how to use them.

Here are steps to fix that:

• Make a list of your talents and abilities, things that you are passionate about. (It's not about how many you have but how well you use them)
• Write down reasons why you haven't used them yet (if being too young is one of your reasons, scrap it, it's not valid)
• Next to each talent, write down ways that you start putting them to use
• Connect with people who have the same talents (not to copy them, but to get ideas and advice)
• Then do it!!!

Don't let your talents go to waste. Don't die not having fulfilled your passions. Leave this world empty.
